Man, 21mm is wide, and this lens can get close. the bokeh has the smoothness of a modern lens and the color reproduction is excellent. It is nice and sharp wide-open and feels perfectly balanced on the SL. While the 21mm focal length is challenging, this lens delivers the goods. Like my eighth-grade social studies teacher used to say: “go wide or go home.” Maybe that was someone else. | ||

Voigtländer Ultron 21mm f/1.8 LM
My second M-mount Cosina Voigtländer lens, and it’s a brilliant lens. Man, 21mm is wide, and this lens can get close. the bokeh has the smoothness of a modern lens and the color reproduction is excellent. It is nice and sharp wide-open and feels perfectly balanced on the SL. While the 21mm focal length is challenging, this lens delivers the goods. Like my eighth-grade social studies teacher used to say: “go wide or go home.” Maybe that was someone else.
