I signed up for Personal Capital today and began entering my various accounts. Looking at money (or the lack thereof) is so depressing. I still have a student loan debt in the tens-of-thousands after being out of grad school almost twenty years. I know it could be worse, but seeing big numbers is scary. I have a free meeting with a financial advisor next week. (They’re gonna try to sell me something, right?) I guess that’s long overdue. Maybe he has a magic wand?
