Fonts and CSS
I knew it wouldn’t be long before I started messing with the fonts and the CSS of this site. So I did. I changed all of the headers, body text, and this and that. I used a heavier font for the links, but I still might have to do more to make them stand out. OK, I just changed them from 500 to 700. Better, I think.
But there are many more wiki-specific ways to use fonts in my posts, like just through some simple wiki code: see {{Font size templates}}. With just a little code, I can easily tweak the fonts of any page, like the title of this one uses {{Large}}. Oh my.
I also spent some time on my course directory. I put my whole history of teaching (as much as I still have) in a cool table. I’m going to start posting when I can, like today’s LIT 3073 from USF. I won’t post everything, but try to get to the ones I list on my cv.
What else is going on? I’m currently reading Daryl Easlea’s Without Frontiers: The Life & Music of Peter Gabriel on the Kindle app. So far, it’s not bad — though mainly focusing on Genesis — but I can only read a bit every night.
I’m eating right, but not losing weight. It’s frustrating carrying around this extra 10-15 pounds. Still, at least I didn’t wait until I got back over 200 to pay attention.
